Not bad. – Hsingtzulee – San Francisco It’s actually not bad, i mean it’s cheap and it’s workable, but it’s broken after a few times of uses, i’m not sure i’m being too rude or it’s too fragile…..but i don’t really care since it’s not that pricy just to get another one, and this time i’ll be careful using it.
This simple, little piece of plastic is the best thing since sliced bread. It works better than any suction or bean bag holder. It’s not quick to remove so if you use your GPS in two cars, I suggest buying another vent holder and an extra cradle. Then all you have to move is the GPS.
GPS Vent Mount Works – Westwind “Bill” – Ohio The vent mount for the Garmin Nuvi works, but it is a bit tricky to install and remove. I would suggest removing it when parking your vehicle because it could tip off thieves that you have a GPS unit in the car. I had to use a small screwdriver to help unhook the mount from the vent. When doing this, you have to be careful not to damage the louvers in your vent.
The support arm at the bottom of the unit just rests on the vent. When I hit several bumps while driving it slipped off and caused the GPG to tilt down. I had to hold the vent mount in place while driving over a bumpy stretch of road.
The manufacturer did not include assembly and installation instructions with the vent mount. I had to contact the vendor, who promptly e-mailed instructions, including a video, showing how to mount the unit in the car vent. I would give the seller 5 stars for prompt tech support, but only 3 stars for the vent mount itself.
Nice, but not perfect – M. Kusumoto – CA USA These are nice for trips because you can easily view the Garmin GPS without the glare of the car windshield.
It has one problem. The two legs that mount on to the air vent slide on and off very easy. That means you can lose them one of them very easily if you’re in a hurry to put the GPS away in the glove compartment or back in the case. I learned that the hard way and had to buy another whole unit.
I figured out an easy solution. I bought a small plastic screw, bolt and washer from my ACE hardware store and mounted it in slot between the two legs. Now the legs don’t come off and I don’t have to worry about losing them.
Came With Zero Documentation – Skyhawk – USA You are on your own figuring out the best way to mount it.
I needed a spare mount for my Garmin 360 to use in a rental car on trips. I don’t want to cannibalize my dash mount on my daily driver so I got a Garmin car charger, suction cup mount, and this Garmin 360 Car Cradle from Amazon. They are genuine Garmin and are identical to the parts that come in the box with a new Garmin. This is important for the Car Cradle because it holds the charger connector and grips the GPS itself, and it has a quick-disconnect lever that lets you take it out of the car when you park. I’ve used this setup with a suction cup windshield mount on trips with no problems.
Be careful to get the Car Cradle that matches your exact model of Garmin. If your model isn’t listed, it probably won’t work with you GPS. So, search on the model number and be sure and get the right one the first time.
works well – B. Stenman – This is an exact replacement for the Garmin one supplied with the Garmin Nuvi 370 GPS but I later learned that this part is also available for plus shipping direct from Garmin tech support.
Have to have – all about books – Arlington, TX USA I had misplaced my car cradle for my Nuvi GPS. This was shipped in a timely matter . This site has a lot of parts for a GPS and the part I was received was the actual part i needed.
If you just need the cradle, without the mount, this is what you need.
It includes the power connections for your Nuvi and fits the Garmin windshield (and other mounts that use the ball) perfectly
This fits the Nuvi 300-series
If you just need the cradle, without the mount, this is what you need at a real good price. It includes the power connections for your Nuvi and fits the Garmin windshield (and other mounts that use the ball) perfectly! This will fit the Garmin Nuvi 370 360 350 310 and 300.
Too big for a GPS, ok for camera. – H. Curl – Seattle, WA United States Although it’s labelled as a GPS case, it really made for a small camera, with multiple compartments and a hard shell. It would probably hold at least three hand-held GPS receivers. Well-made, but overkill for the advertised use.
this is an accessory you must have if you buy any Garmin GPS as it is not a regular item that comes in the box. The reason is you will sometimes need to charge it during the evening or else if you don’t have a car but still wants to use the GPS for finding your way. It is simple, cheap but very important.
Does not work – Traveling_Goddess – Los Angeles, USA The light comes on that it is charging the GPS unit but when you unplug it, the unit has not been charged. Left it overnight twice, to find it in the morning not charged… thankfully my phone charger was compatible with the GPS unit pluggin and so I was able to charge it in that manner.
My old GPS connector broke, so I’d to buy this. And I also charge my blackberry and Motorola phones with this. Multipurpose use.
good one but ther are multiple out put ports with single input are available – Vincent – Dallas,TX this is good one, but we can not have supperate charger for each devices like different cell phones, GPS,Laptop,…. currently in market single divices with mutiple oupts are available, that would better in my suggestion thanks
Don’t bother… – A. Hammond – Schwenksville, pa USA Don’t bother buying this if there is any distance between your window and the lighter plug in. Mine broke within 2 months of use. The cord does not stretch easily and broke away from the plug – it no longer works at all!
Garmin Street Pilot Rapid Car Charger – T. Smith – Michigan, USA This product is great, it works better than the original adapter I received. And it doesn’t get tangled up! I love it.
Truth be told, my Garmin does NOT slip, and the mount itself does not move. Works as it should.
No good on a bicycle! Don’t waste your money! – David Wheelock – This is no good on a bicycle. I got this to mount my Garmin GPS on my bicycle. However, the ball on the unit is too small so the GPS doesn’t grip it tightly enough. Consequently, it’s so loose that after only a few hundred yards of riding, the normal bicycle vibration causes the GPS to tilt down where you can’t see it any more.
Totally useless. Don’t waste your money.
Great, but not too trusty. – Palmer Jankens – California, USA This product worked perfectly for me for a couple of months, and then the stem broke off of the mount while riding. The only reason my GPS didn’t smash on the ground was sheer luck in the direction of fall, which happened to be slow and catch-able. I fixed it with Mighty Putty (thanks Billie Mays!) and it has worked since.
Do not buy this product! – Mark I. Stein – Terrible, terrible, terrible! The ball and socket joint is far too slippery. The vibration from biking causes the unit to sag, and every five minutes you need to reposition the screen. Also, on very small bumps the unit leaps clear out of the mount and goes flying. This in not only destined to destroy an expensive GPS unit, it is dangerous! I would be looking for a new way to mount the Garmin Nuvi GPS to my bike, but the unit itself is so lousy that I don’t intend to keep using it. I have come to this conclusion after a solid month of testing. Don’t make the mistake I did. Don’t buy a Garmin Nuvi; don’t buy this handlebar mount.

I took a chance on this knock-off bracket since the Garmin OEM replacement part was so expensive. There are two important functions for this bracket plus cosmetic finish: 1. Smooth-secure pivot on ball joint – I rate this 9 out of 10; This is probably the most important function and it performs very well. 2. Secure attachment of clip into slots of GPS device – I rate this 6 out of 10 – It doesn’t clip as snappy as the original but it gets the job done. 3. Cosmetic finish – I rate this 4 out of 10 – The surface finish is more crude than the original, but who cares. The bracket isn’t even visible when the GPS is installed in front of it.
Overall, it’s four stars out of five. Don’t be worried about this. It will get the job done and you’ll save money from the greedy spare parts department at Garmin.
I’m a mechanical engineer, by-the-way.
Fine Replacement – Samuel Caldwell Jr. – Baltimore MD USA This replacement bracket is identical to the original equipment that I lost. it works perfectly and I had no problem retro-fitting it to the original Garmin GPS.
Works Great – bmpvrs – When I broke my original cradle for my GPS, I found that the only way I could use the GPS was to hold it. I could not put it on the dashboard because it moved around and it had to be up and face the windshield to pick up the satellite. I was so happy to find this on Amazon and for such a good price. It fits the GPS perfectly, just like the original and I am very pleased with it. Thanks again Amazon! I can find anything I need here and for a good price too.
great – Mary Ebueku-Smith – i had no problems. It was shipped to me in a timely manner. Good price and good product as well. Thank you!
BKT 200 For Garmin GPS Units – Archie Gittens – Norfolk, Virginia This is a replacement that works excellent for the Garmin Products. It does the job.
